About Us
Nice to meet you and welcome to my practice!
Dr. Felicia P. Rodgers, LCSW, BCD, DAc., LAc. is a Doctor of Acupuncture, licensed Acupuncturist in the state of South Carolina and North Carolina. After pursuing a career as a psychotherapist for nearly 3 decades, she realized she wanted to support healing processes in a more hands-on manner.
Thanks to a serendipitous suggestion to explore Classical Chinese Medicine, she began her acupuncture journey at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (Oakland, CA), and after some time, finished at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, later earned a Doctorate from Pacific College of Health Sciences (San Diego, CA).
Mentored by Dr. Edward Neal, MD, a renowned researcher and allopathic physician known for the study of nature based medicine, Nèijīng Nature-Based Medicine at the Apricot Grove Project. I am able to combine Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine to care for patients with complex medical illnesses.
Dr. Felicia is most interested in the link between how psycho-emotional pain can manifest physically in the mind-body. She enjoys educating patients about the interconnected nature of their overall health.
Dr. Felicia has a gentle yet firm healing style that she sees as a key component to patients experiencing better health. I do not let patients dictate treatment nor negotiate recommendations for your health. In my experience, meeting people "where they’re at” often becomes an excuse to avoid leading, true clinical authority, without being authoritarian, is what actually builds trust, compliance, and results.
In her spare time, Dr. Felicia enjoys cubist art, music, solitude and dance, and can usually be found within nature, being a Siamese cat mom, and continuing her work as a practicing herbalist and medicinal balm maker.
i am also known as Dr. Omo to friends!
My practice is dedicated to my dear Mother, S. Morgan, who I am forever grateful to have come through this precious vessel journey.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, body pain, or seeking deeper balance, I offer care that honors both your emotional story and your body’s wisdom. Through acupuncture, herbal medicine, and therapeutic insight, I help clients reconnect to resilience, clarity, and calm.
